Summer Please?

 

 It's only February and it feels like summer. I really am loving the warm weather and I don't want it to go away.  Being able to go outside and wear short sleeves, take my shoes off and not be freezing is one of my favorite things. But adding these girls to that makes it even better.  

Plus chalk takes me back to my childhood and who doesn't love that?

Beauty

There is a lot of beautiful things in this world. And one of my favorite beautiful things is people. 

Each of us were made different for a reason. And each of us are Beautiful in a different way. People will tell you different because they don't see it. They are being blind. Maybe you don't even see it yourself, but there is just a little block happening between your eyes and your brain.  You have loving people around you that see it and love it. I think that we need to be more open about telling people about their beauty. Because everyone has it and you can't let anyone tell you otherwise. 

In these picture are some of my favorite people that I think are the most beautiful people I know. I think they are beautiful in appearance but also in spirit and love.

Sure these may not be the most beautiful pictures but that doesn't matter, what does is the people that are in them (and yes even the boys are beautiful). 

We have to open to seeing the beauty and what beauty we will see if we are looking. 

So go try seeing the beauty in others it will change your life.

Sledding

Since we had no school we decided that we wanted to do a fun family activity and we decided on SLEDDING. I am not a big fan but it was a lot of fun today. I had so much fun just spending quality time with them. I think we need to do it more often and I think my brother agrees since as we were about to go down the hill he turns to me and said "We should do this more often!" I made this video of our little adventure so we could look back and have a little laugh if we ever needed to. But I would love to document moments like these more often so I think I will plus iMovie was a wonderful invention. (The Song is Hot Air Ballon by The National Parks. You should look them up)

Walter Mitty Stole My Heart

I have found a new love for this man above. 

His name is Walter and he did exactly what I want to do someday, follow my dreams. 

 This movie was amazing. It was not only beautiful to the eye but also to the heart. If you have not seen it I would recommend the next time you have a couple hours to kill get on down to your local theater and ask to see Mitty. It will not disappoint.

Winter Wonderland

Well it's beginning to look at lot like Christmas here in my neck if the woods and I couldn't be more excited!!

I can't wait for more of the festivities to start. I have a feeling this is going to be a good season!!!

High School: Sophmore

I did it!! My first week of High School. And might I say it was lots of fun, but the first two days I might have freaked myself out a little more than I needed. It was a good thing I have amazing friends that are there to guide me and calm me down. Some ideas for the first week of High school:
-Breathe (a lot)
-Stay close to your friends
-Don't worry about other people they mind their own business
-Ask questions
-Take Seminary (I cannot stress this enough)
-Be yourself-you're not their to impress everyone
-Don't be afraid to say Hi to people
-Smile and laugh!!
